Rules

Rules to follow to ensure the safety and security of all individuals that enter the halls of the Altar. Failure to comply will result in removal from the venue or potential ban.

one. ━━━

Due to the nature of the venue Ars Moriendi is strictly 21+. All patrons must be 21+ IC and OOC to attend, interact with the discord, and/or apply to staff.

two. ━━━

Ars Moriendi is a safe space. We have a strict zero tolerance policy for homophobia, transphobia, racism, and any other bigotry in general. We expect all patrons to treat each other with respect, and intolerance will not be allowed.

three. ━━━

Ars Moriendi is strictly consent-based at all times. Given the nature of the venue, consent to any services must be expressly given, and patrons AND staff may revoke consent at any time, for any reason. That decision will always be supported by management.

Please treat all patrons and staff with respect. IC drama is welcome, but OOC drama or treating writers OOC with disrespect will not be tolerated.

/Shout and /Yell are reserved for management of the venue only. Please do not utilize these chats during open hours. Please also refrain from OOC chatter in /say chat.

Ars Moriendi is a sanctuary for Nightkin and Voidsent. Hunters and those hostile to these kinds of characters are allowed in the venue, but may be asked to leave if behavior becomes disruptive. Be warned that outward expression of hostility towards our patrons will not go over well.

Hosts of all sorts grace the halls of Ars Moriendi, ready to welcome you home. Immortal, mortal, of myriad different backgrounds, our hosts are here to be a star in your night sky. Come introduce yourself and see where the evening might take you.

Aether Services

Aether can be hard to come by in it's more...pure forms. At least, not without a steep cost. here at Ars Moriendi, we strive to provide aether (sanguine or crystalline) to all those who feast upon it. Our bars are stocked with libations to tickle the fancy, and our mortal staff may even offer theirs up fresh from the source. You need only ask and seek consent.

Dominion

Two measures of Ishgardian aged bourbon in a rosemary-smoked glass, shaken with fig liquor and plum cordial. Sparkled with club soda and topped with a sprig of rosemary and thyme.

This Corrosion

Single-malt Hingan whiskey, shaken with rich amaretto, ginger beer, cloves, and a dash of lime juice. Served over a sphere of ice and topped with sliced ginger and a lime-salt rim.

True Faith

Ishgardian black vodka-- blessed in a monastery of Halone, swirled with sweet cream and edible gold flakes. This cloudy drink, served in a rocks glass, emulates the majesty of an endless night sky.

Love Like Blood

Red Limsan rum mixed with pomegranate molasses and a splash of devotion-infused blood, stirred gently with hibiscus wine to cut the sweetness. Pomegranate seeds and a sprig of mint top this chilled drink.

Killing Moon

Black absinthe slow-dripped over a cherry sugar and a sanguine sphere of ice and suspended blood. As the red ‘moon’ melts, it cracks, infusing the drink with scarlet aether. This drink is rimmed with cherry and blackberry sugar and topped with a wisp of green sage smoke.

Bela Lugosi's Dead

Cabernet Sauvignon aged in blood-soaked cedar barrels, featuring notes of black-currant, iron, and eucalyptus. This dry wine may be served as-is, or with an additional floater of your choice of aether shot.

Spellbound

Coconut rum, a splash of gin, stirred with vanilla-lilac cream and a shot of pure aether for mana. Poured into a martini glass and topped with a spray of dried lavender

Haunt Me

Vylbrand dry gin and elderflower liqueur, stirred with a little frothed egg white and a heavy sugar syrup. This addictive drink is topped with a single drop of your bartender’s blood. Come back for more, if you dare.

Tear You Apart

Rich Ishgardian chocolate martini, mixed with coffee liquor and dragon pepper-infused vodka. Topped with a double-shot of warm blood infused with dynamis.
